In the fall of 2015, we purchased our first llama, Sunny. She is an Appaloosa llama so she's covered with polka dots! She spends her days keeping watch over the goat herd as they graze in the pasture. Hazel joined the farm as a pregnant mom and eleven months later birthed a beautiful cria, Irving. It was such a thrill to have a llama born here! Boys need to be separated from their mamas before age one, so blue-eyed Bingo arrived in a minivan from Wisconsin to befriend Irving.  Finally, our handsome boy Tomás joined the herd because of his gentle manner and awesome people skills.

The llamas interact with guests at Lucky Star Farm and occasionally hop into their trailer and visit young readers or retirement communities.
